An intern at the OneWay Gallery will be working under the direct supervision of our managing directors, who will provide direction and guidance throughout his/her time in the program.

The One Way Gallery represents a core group of emerging artists who work in both two and three-dimensional fields.  Housed in a former warehouse in a busy South County retail district, the gallery is developing a reputation as a location for quality, future-directed fine artwork.

The intern will have an opportunity to work on all aspects of gallery operations.  He/She will work directly with management staff, gallery volunteers, and other interns from area universities.  Projects will include; developing media contacts; managing daily gallery staffing and operations including art sales; educating gallery guests on various artwork mediums and artists’ biographical information; assisting in curating rotating exhibitions; and opining on future exhibitions.  The gallery is prepared to tailor an internship to suit the candidate’s particular requirements and personal goals.

The internship sight will consist of two days at the gallery and one half day from a remote location for a total of 20 hours per week.  The program dates for the internship will be set in accordance with the intern’s semester.

Please feel free to contact Christian Harder at any time to discuss an internship directly, (401) 497-8475,
