T H E H I S T O R Y The OneWay Gallery opened in March 2004 after undergoing a major renovation over the previous winter. Co-founders Stephen Cook and Christian Harder who each came from different artistic backgrounds, Cook being a painter and Harder being a photographer worked to merge their visions for a contemporary art gallery representing a younger generation of up and coming artists from around the country.

After a continuos morphing of space over the following year, the OneWay Gallery settled into its location. A gritty garage encasing clean white walls, creating the backdrop for forward thinking contemporary art.

The Gallery’s stable has grown to over twenty five artists within the past three years. Its reputation as a serious exhibitor of fine art work has made it a destination in Rhode Island, bringing cliental from Los Angeles, New York City, Boston, and London.
